Tall Pedestal Vase with Orange Detail marbled pottery mug Mug depicts three adult sandhillThis vase takes advantage of glazes which run flooding the carved orange botanical accents and running down the piece, there is a delightful marriage of movement from a molten glaze frozen in time, and bright pops of color. The dusty rose body paired with the umber rings adds a vintage feeling. This vase was exciting for me to pull from the kiln, and I will be playing with this design more! Vase is wheel thrown in parts and assembled from porcelain.
