"Trinity, Crowned in Stillness" Protea Tea Towel fine art Date: SaturdayThis tea towel began as a large scale painting: a protea rendered in a loose and expressive style, full of boldness and wild beauty that this flower carries in the Cape landscape. It is one of my favourite subjects, and one I return to again and again in my studio. Once the painting was finished, I carefully digitised the artwork so it could live beyond the canvas.
