Known in the past as an important blending component in the Chivas brothers portfolio, this distillery recently gained independence. Stocks from Glenallachie have been trickling into the independent bottling market and are well worth tasting. This particular expression was aged in sherry casks, a particular favourite of the new owners of the distillery.
