The firm used the trade names Lonsdale Plate during the 1930s and 1940s, Chester Plate during the late 1940s until their closure in 1960. The item is a part set which consists of five identical silver plated vintage soup spoons manufactured by A. E. Poston under their Lonsdale Plate trade name in Birmingham between the 1930s and 1940s. The spoons have been
