Dedicated on February 10, 2008, it was the first temple dedicated by Thomas S. Monson as the church's new president. Designed in the Classic Modern style, the temple sits south of the Brigham Young University Idaho (BYU Idaho) campus in Rexburg. The temple has two progressive endowment rooms and five sealing rooms. The ornament is
