According to the US Army Air Force Interchangeability Cross Reference Chart dated February 1945, this indicator was used in the fighter P 47 Thunderbolt, as well as in the A 35 Vengeance dive bomber, C 46 Commando transport, and UC 78 Bobcat utility aircraft. The positions of the
