Chateau Coudray-Montpensier Chinon POD given a touch of oakFrom Chteau Coudray Montpensier in the heart of Chinon, thirty four hectares of Cabernet Franc on the left bank of the Vienne, on clay, limestone and sand. Destemmed, given a cold pre fermentation maceration, fermented in stainless steel and left unoaked to keep the fruit bright. Deep garnet, showing the classic leafy Cabernet Franc note with blackcurrant and a hint of liquorice, then bright blackcurrant fruit, fresh acidity and velvety tannins. A
