Delightful rather than compelling but this is so exuberant yet fine that it’s impossible not to like

This is very good for its level though I would observe that it’s definitely a creature of its vintage

Rossignol Trapet, Gevrey Chambertin Clos Prieur Size:12x750ml cola and medicinal herb(planted in 1985). A markedly more elegant nose shows aromas of the essence of red pinot fruit, spice, lavender and a hint of spiced tea. There is very good volume to the delicious and energetic middle weight flavors that retain good detail on the saline and youthfully austere finish that is presently a bit tough. While the tannins will undoubtedly soften with time in bottle, its not clear whether this will ultimately harmonize.
